This series was created in collaboration with individuals connected to Recovery Café and Evergreen Treatment Services.

Each participant contributed directly to their portrait, leaving a physical mark in the work.

The project reflects on how we see people in public space—and what we often miss.

Walk through my paintings

I’m inspired by unspoken, subtle expressions and drawn to paint these emotions. Through my art, I try to paint what is unsaid and hidden in the innate, natural state that makes us human, yet still animals. Something I find difficult to put into words.
